We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overseeing the company's financial status, developing financial strategies, implementing control systems to protect assets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies.
- Oversee budgetary planning, financial forecasting, and financial risk management.
- Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with Regulations and Authority guidelines.
- Lead the Finance department and oversee accounting activities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain relationships with regulators.
- Manage capital structure, cash flow, and fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic direction.
- Foster relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
- Implement corporate governance practices and manage financial risks.
- Serve as liaison with the Board of Directors and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with the Schemes (VISA and Mastercard).
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with 5 years in senior leadership, ideally within the payments industry.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Regulatory and Compliance landscape and Scheme regulations.
