What You’ll Do:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing, processing, and delivering high-quality data to support various departments across the company. The role requires strong SQL expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with diverse datasets to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries in MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality data and reports.
- Design and implement strategies for improving database structures, data integration, and reporting processes.
- Reconcile and evaluate data from multiple sources, identifying and addressing any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Assist in the development of data models, reports, and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Take ownership of additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and query optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, with advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex datasets with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with ETL tools, particularly Visual Studio Data Tools (SSIS, SSRS).
- Experience working with trading platform databases (e.g., MT4, MT5, cTrader).
- Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of MDX or DAX to query analysis services and create complex reports.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of Forex markets and financial systems is a plus.
