We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team at Exclusive. You will help reconcile client funds across various payment methods, support the team with day-to-day bookkeeping, and get hands-on training in tools like the Methodos Reconciliation System. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of Client Funds vs Payment Methods (e.g., PSPs, banks, and other payment platforms)
- Learn and use the Methodos Reconciliation System as part of the reconciliation process (training will be provided)
- Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies between client deposits, withdrawals, and payment providers
- Help maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including journal entries and updates to the general ledger
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper allocation of client funds and support accurate financial reporting
- Prepare basic reconciliation summaries, identifying any issues or missing information for review
- Take part in month-end and year-end closing activities, guided by senior team members
- Follow internal processes and financial controls, with support and supervision
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to spot and resolve errors
- Comfortable with computers, especially Microsoft Excel; open to learning new tools
- Able to handle sensitive information and large volumes of data responsibly
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A true team player who enjoys working with others and contributing to shared goals
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across different departments
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in the final stages of completion).
- A genuine interest in accounting and a willingness to learnwe will provide training and support.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliation concepts; any exposure to client funds or payment methods is a bonus.
- Comfortable using Excel, familiarity with accounting software is a plus (let us know if you have used specific tools before).
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to build your financial knowledge.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others, as well as take initiative when needed.
