Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Limassol
On behalf of our client, a well-established independent international consulting firm, we are seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals, whether partly or fully ACCA/ACA qualified, who are eager to advance their careers, take on greater responsibility, and grow within a highly respected local firm with an international reach.
The selected professional will manage a portfolio of clients from diverse industries, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth coordination of accounting processes. They will work closely with both the Audit and Tax departments to address clients’ reporting and compliance needs while maintaining effective communication with clients and relevant authorities, under the guidance of their supervisor or manager.
Main Duties:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Ensure adherence to IFRS and internal policies.
- Manage VAT, VIES, and other statutory reporting obligations.
- Handle the accounting of entities in the international investment and technology sectors.
- Allocate tasks within the team and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Around three years of experience working with international clientele.
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as eSoft will be an asset.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- Strong computer literacy.
- ACCA qualification (partly or fully completed) will be considered a strong advantage.
