Position: Junior Auditor

On behalf of our client, a boutique audit firm that provides a full range of professional services, accounting, audit, tax and advisory, we are looking to hire a Junior Auditor for Nicosia offices.
The Junior Auditor will be responsible for conducting audit engagements, preparing financial statements, performing analytical reviews, and assisting in the completion of audit reports.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Assist in planning and executing audit procedures for various clients.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform analytical reviews to identify discrepancies and unusual trends.
- Document audit findings and prepare supporting workpapers.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
- Support the team in ad hoc tasks related to audit and assurance services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field- University students close to completing their degree will also be considered.
- Any relevant accounting certifications (such as LCCI) will be a plus.
- Excellent Greek and English communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Experience in completing audit reports.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Excel.
- Pursuing or willing to pursue ACCA qualification.
