G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group is seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Operations Supervisor to join our UPS division Cyprus.
As an Operational Supervisor at UPS, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily logistics and ground operations in the sorting centre, delivery hub and freight operation. This role ensures packages and shipments are processed, routed, and delivered efficiently while meeting company standards for safety, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Hands-on role with opportunities for growth into a full Operational Manager role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of operations staff (e.g., drivers, warehouse workers, dispatchers).
- Oversee sorts, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and delivery preparation
- Ensure operational tasks are completed according to schedule and service standards
- Prepare and submit daily reports to meet UPS KPIS
- Manage workflow to meet productivity targets (e.g., delivery timelines)
- Identify operational bottlenecks, recommend changes, and help implement solutions to increase efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., customer service)
- Willingness to travel across Cyprus based on operational needs
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in logistics or operations in a courier company will be considered an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with management systems (MS Office – Excel, logistics software)
- Problem-solving and time management
- English & Greek Language
- Driving License B
- Flexible hours required which may include early mornings or late afternoons based on the daily operation, package volumes and delivery schedules
