Work Channel Professional Recruitment is working closely with a client and is seeking to recruit an HR Officer.
Our client is a dynamic and growing hospitality group, operating a successful chain of restaurants across the Cyprus. We are now looking for an HR Officer to join our client's HR Department.
Benefits
- Working Hours: 08:00-17:00 (included 1 hour break) Monday to Friday
- Competitive salary package of up to €1,700 gross per month.
- Annual Leave: 21 days
- Meals: Half board 1 meal per day and 2 coffees or tea per day
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Design, prepare, and publish job advertisements.
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process.
- Screen CVs and coordinate interviews.
- Prepare employment contracts and related documentation.
- Organize employee registration and onboarding programs for new hires.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Monitor attendance, absences, and leave records.
- Manage employment contracts, renewals, and related documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.
Training & Development
- Identify training and development needs within the organization.
- Organize and coordinate training programs and seminars.
- Support employee professional development initiatives.
Performance Management
- Support employee performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with line managers to develop improvement plans.
Employee Relations & Support
- Handle employee queries, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Promote a positive working environment and employee engagement.
- Liaise with the payroll department or external partners regarding salaries and benefits.
- Manage employee benefits and social insurance-related matters.
HR Policies & Procedures
- Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
- Communicate internal regulations and company policies to employees.
- Participate in the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritise tasks effectively
