Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Bar Manager for the Annabelle Hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bars
- Prepare staff schedules, taking into consideration the quality of the service and maintaining labour costs
- Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources
- Identify training and development needs for staff
- Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment
- Manage staff performance and conduct performance appraisals
- Stay updated with the international F&B trends and make appropriate suggestions to the Hotel Manager
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
- Implement improvements for products and service
- Comply with all Health & Safety rules and regulations
- Manage and order supplies and beverages
- Comply and communicate company policies, standards and procedures to staff and ensure that they are implemented
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
- Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
- Computer Literate
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
- Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
- Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
- Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
