Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Hotel Manager for the 5* Almyra Hotel - member of Design Hotels.
Hotel Manager will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the hotel operation.
The role of Hotel Manager reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of 187-rooms, with 8 F&B Outlets including 5 Restaurants and 3 Bars
- Lead the strategic development and performance of the hotel operation by monitoring KPIs, enforcing SOPs, and continuously enhancing quality, profitability, and guest experience.
- Provide direct leadership and oversight to the Heads of Department, including PA, Executive Housekeeper, Food & Beverage Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Front Office Manager, Maintenance Manager, Executive Chef, Kids Club Manager, and Spa Manager.
- Set clear strategic direction and performance expectations across all departments to achieve financial, operational, and service excellence, while fostering a positive, accountable, and results-driven culture.
- Drive strong commercial performance through disciplined financial management, budget control, forecasting, and continuous optimisation of EBITDA.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest satisfaction by monitoring service standards, responding to guest feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of hospitality-related laws, regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all hotel licences, permits, and statutory approvals are obtained and renewed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to maximize revenue, market share, and brand exposure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Hotel Manager in a luxury resort property, preferably within Europe.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of Food & Beverage with a high-volume luxury environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong capability in financial strategy, budget planning, and fiscal control.
