Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Security for the Almyra Hotel.
Job Role
Will be responsible to ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and guard hotel premises to ensure safety, security, and prevention of unauthorized access.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats and ensure guest confidence.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and security incidents.
- Control and manage access of guests, staff, visitors, and vehicles to the premises.
- Monitor CCTV systems, security alarms, and surveillance equipment; report any irregularities.
- Ensure fire exits, emergency routes, and corridors remain clear and compliant with safety regulations.
- Secure doors, windows, gates, and restricted areas in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
- Liaise with hotel management, emergency services, and local authorities when required.
- Assist with emergency evacuations and implementation of safety procedures.
- Adhere strictly to security policies, operational procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guests, employee, and hotel information.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar security role (hospitality environment preferred).
- Holder of a licensed Guard Identity Card as required by Cyprus Law
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods and responding to emergencies.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and stressful environments.
- Strong observation, communication, and conflict management skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
- Fluency in Greek and/or English is required (additional languages considered an advantage).
- Subject to background check and criminal record clearance, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
