Role Summary
The Back-Office Officer supports daily financial operations, including client transactions, reconciliations, risk checks, and KYC/AML compliance, working closely with compliance, audit teams, and financial institutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily monetary routines including processing clients’ deposits and withdrawal requests and regularly reconcile and update records accordingly.
- Verifying client’s card and bank account details and transaction records for AML purposes.
- Conduct risk assessment of client monetary transactions to identify potential fraud and other related issues and take necessary actions.
- Taking initiative to identify, analyse and resolve questions regarding clients’ accounts.
- Assist in maintaining smooth global operations of the team and actively participate in cross department collaboration.
- Liaise with external money processors and banks to handle transaction issues and disputes.
- Effective implement of Know your Client (KYC) procedure to all potential and existing Clients.
- Work closely with compliance and internal audit departments, and prepare various regulatory reports related to back-office.
- Preparation of daily reconciliation reports.
Requirements
- Degree or related qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- At least 1 year experience in financial services industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and well versed in Excel and Word.
- Experience in verifying documents and processing payments.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Working Hours:
- Willingness to do morning and afternoon shifts on a weekly basis.
- Flexible to work on weekends/Cyprus Public holidays on rotation.
- Working Hours 08:00-16:00 & 15:00 – 23:00.
