Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive BI Analyst to become the core owner of our Tableau ecosystem. Our organization is heavily sales-driven, meaning your work with data will directly impact our revenue growth. You will be responsible for building high-quality interactive dashboards, managing our Tableau Server, and working closely with the Revenue team to track the sales pipeline and conversion rates.
The ideal candidate is someone who is technically skilled in Tableau and SQL but also has the "business curiosity" to understand how our operations works and where we can improve.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tableau Development & Admin
- Dashboarding: Create functional, interactive, and visually polished dashboards in Tableau that stakeholders actually enjoy using.
- Server Maintenance: Manage Tableau Server (handling user access, permissions, and organizing the project structure).
- Data Freshness: Manage and monitor Tableau Extracts and subscriptions to ensure data is always up-to-date and accurate.
2. Sales & Revenue Support
- Funnel Analysis: Build and maintain reports on sales pipeline, conversion stages, and lead velocity.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide quick, accurate data insights using Excel or Tableau to support urgent business decisions.
- Proactivity: Don’t just build what is asked — analyze the data and suggest where the business might be missing opportunities.
3. Collaboration & Processes
- Requirements Gathering: Communicate with business users to understand their needs and turn them into clear technical requirements.
- Data Pipeline: Coordinate with data engineers to explain what datasets you need to build the best possible dashboards.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in BI or Data Analytics.
- Tableau Stack: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop (LODs, Parameters, Sets) and experience with Tableau Server administration.
- SQL: Solid ability to write queries to extract and transform data.
- Excel: Advanced user (Pivot tables, complex formulas, data cleaning).
- Business Mindset: Understanding of basic sales metrics (Pipeline, Conversion, Win Rate, Churn, MRR).
- Language: Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Python: Basic scripting for data tasks.
- Statistics: Understanding of core statistical concepts.
- Vibe Stack: Cursor for development, n8n for workflow automation, and an understanding of how to prompt/deploy AI agents for data tasks.
