On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable company based in Nicosia, we are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Head of Compliance to lead and oversee the company’s compliance framework. This is a senior-level position focused on ensuring full regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on AML, internal governance, and risk management within a dynamic corporate environment operating in international trading and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the company’s compliance function
• Ensure full compliance with AML regulations and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Develop, review, and implement compliance policies and procedures
• Monitor internal controls and identify potential compliance risks
• Conduct AML reviews, risk assessments, and compliance reporting
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance and AML matters
• Ensure accurate record keeping and timely reporting
• Stay up to date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Head of Compliance or in a similar senior compliance role
• Advanced AML knowledge is essential
• Previous experience within international trading, investment, or financial services environments will be considered a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage compliance responsibilities effectively
• Fluency in English and Greek is required
