Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement & Purchasing Supervisor to join their team and oversee purchasing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of products from international and local suppliers, maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating replenishment activities.
The role will also involve close collaboration with the commercial team to support product availability, improve purchasing efficiency, and optimize costs and inventory investment.

Responsibilities
Purchasing & Procurement
- Manage purchasing activities based on business needs, sales forecasts, and inventory requirements.
- Process orders, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation for international and local suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules where applicable.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Inventory Management & Planning
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock movement, and ensure optimal product availability while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
- Support replenishment planning, new product launches, and product discontinuations.
- Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze sales trends and inventory data to support purchasing decisions.
- Prepare purchasing reports, monitor purchasing budgets, and manage inventory investment.
Supplier & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate shipments with logistics providers, customs brokers, and warehouse teams.
- Ensure accurate purchasing documentation and resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, invoices, and product quality.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Brand Managers, and Finance teams to support business requirements.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and support ERP system improvements and purchasing automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedure
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field
· Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably within FMCG, retail, or distribution and at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
· Strong understanding of inventory management principles
· Experience working with ERP systems
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
