About
Sir/Ma’am,
My name is Tim Carpenter, and I previously served as a Human Resources Manager specialising in Learning and Development with the British Royal Air Force. Moving to civilian life in Cyprus has given me a chance to apply my experience in a new setting.
Since 2002, I have held every HR Manager position, and I am dedicated to creating training opportunities for teams and individuals alike. I have delivered a range of training sessions and workshops, including personal and professional development, leadership programmes, Trauma Risk Management, Workplace Stress Management, and Mental Health Resilience training.
Beyond facilitating training, I have worked through the entire training process—from conducting Training Needs Analysis to evaluating training outcomes for both individuals and organisations.
During my time at the Royal Air Force’s Training Analysis Centre, I carried out job analyses across all trades and developed the necessary documentation to ensure training met Systems Approach to Training standards.
In my role as a training consultant, I led a research and development team focused on adopting blended learning approaches to improve training effectiveness for both organisations and individuals. Additionally, I’ve contributed to various projects, either managing or collaborating as a team member, making sure training for British Military personnel was efficient and effective.
Most recently, I led Employee Engagement at the Defence School of Communications and Information Services, supporting members of all UK military branches and the civil service. My responsibilities included overseeing internal communications, employee support, organisational culture, inclusivity, diversity, manager engagement, analysing annual satisfaction surveys, and providing reports and action plans for senior leaders.
