Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean are seeking to recruit a Reservations Officer for Pafos Head Offices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma relevant to the Hospitality industry or at least 3 years’ experience in a relative position.
- Communicative and Organizational Skills
- Problem solving skills
- Pleasant, friendly personality
- Excellent knowledge of English language. An additional language, shall be considered as an advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- He/She should know the types of rooms the property has, their locations and layouts, as well as the available packages
- Manages travel agents booking according to the agreements made by the Sales Department
- Manages the reservations of individuals through the Hotel’s website, telephone or other platforms
- Informs continually the Reservation System of the Hotel for the correct allocation of the rooms and to avoid any overbookings.
- Keeps the reservation channels of the Hotel (website, platforms etc) up to date with the room availabilities and price.
- Monitors the guests payment after a reservation in cooperation with the Accounts Department, and establishes the relevant Reservation Confirmation report
- Informs the System of the Hotel with all the information related to each reservation ( VIP’s, extra requirements, nutritional preferences etc)
- In any direct communication with guest she/he tries for upselling.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s policies, procedures and facilities. He/She is also aware of the Emergency Plans.
- To implement all the GDPR System’s requirements for the protection of the guests Personal Data/ Information.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Health & Safety Rules & Regulation.
- Any other job assigned by the Management which is not directly included in the position’s duties but is related to the department.
