Position: Junior Auditor

Location: Nicosia

Type: on-site

On behalf of our client, a boutique audit firm that provides a full range of professional services, accounting, audit, tax and advisory, we are looking to hire a Junior Auditor for Nicosia offices.

The Junior Auditor will be responsible for conducting audit engagements, preparing financial statements, performing analytical reviews, and assisting in the completion of audit reports.

Responsibilities:

Conduct audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors.
Assist in planning and executing audit procedures for various clients.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Perform analytical reviews to identify discrepancies and unusual trends.
Document audit findings and prepare supporting workpapers.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Support the team in ad hoc tasks related to audit and assurance services.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field- University students close to completing their degree will also be considered.
Any relevant accounting certifications (such as LCCI) will be a plus.
Excellent Greek and English communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn.
Experience in completing audit reports.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Excel.
Pursuing or willing to pursue ACCA qualification.
