The licensed recruitment agency the JOB HOUSE (License No. 505), on behalf of its client, a well-established company operating in the Audit and Accounting industry, is looking for an experienced Accountant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee bookkeeping and accounting records for company clients
- Perform and review bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
- Prepare, submit, and monitor VAT and VIES returns
- Manage company registrations and liaise with Inland Revenue, VAT, and VIES authorities
Skills and qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting, Economics) and/or professional qualification (LCCI Higher or equivalent)
- 3-5 years of experience in Internal Accounting or Accounting department of a professional firm
- Very good written and spoken English and Greek
