Your Role
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment across our properties. You will be responsible for implementing health and safety standards, monitoring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture within our teams.
This role is both operational and advisory, requiring close collaboration with management and department heads to ensure that safety is embedded in daily practices.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and ensure compliance with Cyprus Health & Safety legislation and regulations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Develop, implement, and update Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare relevant reports
- Deliver Health & Safety training and inductions to staff
- Liaise with external authorities, consultants, and inspectors when required
- Support management in maintaining ISO standards (ISO 45001 will be considered an advantage)
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments
What We Value
- Previous experience as a Health & Safety Officer, preferably in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus Health & Safety legislation
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety will be considered an advantage)
- Excellent organisational, communication, and reporting skills
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and integrity
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- A mindset aligned with wellbeing, prevention, and continuous improvement
