Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, a leading multinational telecommunications company, is seeking a Junior Datacom Engineer to join their expanding team in Nicosia. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 1–2 years of experience who are eager to build a strong technical foundation in Telecommunications, Datacom and network engineering.
Main Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in project implementation, including network configuration, testing, and equipment commissioning.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing design documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Participate in product testing, troubleshooting, and technical reporting activities.
- Contribute to maintenance and support operations to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver innovative and efficient technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Datacom, networking, or telecommunications (internships or academic projects considered an advantage).
- Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals and a keen interest in Datacom technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
