Job Position: Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking to employ a Project Manager to oversee current and future projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. Key responsibilities include defining project objectives, developing detailed plans, managing resources/budgets, mitigating risks, work closely with external partners, and where applicable government authorities. Acting as the central point of communication, the Project Manager will provide regular updates to senior company management and shareholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project duration. Must have strong leadership, organization, and technical proficiency to drive project success.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
⁃Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scope, vision, and deliverables that align with the resort’s luxury brand standards. Coordinate with architects, planners, engineers, and interior designers to bring forward elegant, functional, and innovative design solutions. Lead tendering processes and negotiate contract awards with discretion and professionalism.
⁃Design & Service Integration: Maintain a deep understanding of existing resort infrastructure, ensuring seamless serviceability and proposing refined solutions to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
⁃Budget Management: Estimating costs, forecasting budgets, payment certificates, obtain quotes, and tracking expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
⁃Resource Coordination: Direct multiple teams and external partners, ensuring optimal resource allocation and smooth project execution.
⁃Risk Management: Anticipate challenges, assess risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Oversee all permitting processes, including TPH permits, Building Permits, Final Certificates, and Titles, coordinating submissions through Ippodamos and maintaining direct communication with authorities.
⁃Communication & Reporting: Serve as the central point of contact for company management and ownership, delivering clear, timely, and insightful updates that support informed decision making.
⁃Team Leadership: Mentoring and motivating team members to meet project deadlines.
⁃Quality Control: Ensure all contractors and suppliers deliver work that meets the resort’s elevated standards, contractual obligations, and project timelines.
⁃Permits: Laise with Consultants and Authorities for issuing the various permits (Building permits – TPH permits etc).
Requirements and Qualifications:
⁃ Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven project management experience, ideally within luxury hospitality, resort development, or high-end construction.
⁃Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
⁃Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) is considered as a plus
⁃Professional Membership: Registered member of ETEK.
⁃Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of multiple engineering disciplines.
⁃Language: Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
⁃Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software (e.g., Gantt charts, MS Project) and engineering software.
⁃Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
