On behalf of our client, a well-established and continuously growing property development company in the Famagusta District, we are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their Finance Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior accounting professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and professional environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, and the day-to-day financial activities of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare and perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Process invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures
• Support the preparation of financial reports and management information
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information
• Assist with any other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Previous accounting experience will be considered an advantage
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software will be considered an advantage
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good command of the Greek and English languages, both written and spoken
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the accounting profession
