Senior Accountant

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for a Senior Accountant in Limassol.

Main duties:

Record daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, card payments, and point-of-sale activity.
Maintain supplier and customer ledgers and process invoices, credit notes, and payments.
Monitor receivables, reconcile supplier statements, and investigate discrepancies.
Support inventory reconciliations and prepare VAT records and supporting schedules.
Prepare monthly reports on sales, expenses, payables, receivables, and cash flow.
Maintain complete accounting records and assist with year-end and audit requests.

Requirements:

Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role.
Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, VAT, and bank reconciliations.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
Good written and spoken Greek and English.
