For decades, our client has been a reliable collaborator in the food manufacturing sector, delivering advanced engineering solutions and customized production systems. On behalf of our client we are looking for an Electrical Engineer.
The role combines electrical design work with practical involvement in machine installation and commissioning. The engineer will work closely with mechanical engineers, automation engineers, and project teams to support the development and delivery of industrial machinery solutions.

Responsibilities
• Prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial machinery.
• Develop electrical documentation including cable lists, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare electrical Bills of Materials (BOM) and component specifications.
• Select electrical components such as sensors, relays, contactors, drives, power supplies, and control devices.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and automation engineers to integrate electrical systems within machinery.
• Support electrical panel assembly and testing.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of machinery at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems during machine start-up and operation.
• Provide after-sales support (remotely & on site).
• Maintain organised project documentation and electrical drawings.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (must be able to register to ETEK)
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial machinery, system integration, or electrical control panel design
• Experience with electrical CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Understanding of industrial control systems and electrical panels
• Basic knowledge of PLC-based control systems is an advantage
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to technical detail
• Fluent communication in Greek and English
• Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning work
Preferred Background
• Experience working for machine builders, automation companies, or electrical panel manufacturers
• Hands-on experience with control panel wiring or machine commissioning
• Exposure to industrial automation environments
