Frequently asked questions

Cyprus gross to net salary questions

Is this the exact amount I will receive?

No. It is a payroll estimate based on the information entered and the standard 2026 rates. Your payslip may differ because of bonuses, benefits, special tax exemptions, provident or pension arrangements, other income, approved deductions and employer-specific payroll treatment.

Does the calculator include a 13th salary?

Yes. Select "13 salaries" and the calculator will annualise the entered monthly gross salary over 13 equal payments and divide the estimated annual take-home pay accordingly.

How is provident fund handled?

The selected employee provident-fund percentage is deducted from estimated take-home pay. For income-tax purposes, Social Insurance, GESY and eligible fund contributions are restricted by the statutory combined deduction limit used by the calculator.

Are my salary details saved?

No. The calculation runs locally in your browser. The calculator does not submit or store the salary figures you enter.

Who should review a complex salary calculation?

For relocation exemptions, multiple income sources, benefits in kind, specialised pension arrangements or other non-standard circumstances, request a calculation from your employer's payroll team, accountant or qualified tax adviser.
