Our client is a well-established accounting and audit firm in Cyprus seeking to strengthen their team with talented professionals across a range of experience levels.

They’re currently looking to add an Accountant to their team.

Job Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and posting of accounting entries.
Preparation of bank, supplier, client and other account reconciliations.
Assistance with the preparation of financial statements and related accounting reports.
Good understanding of VAT, VIES, tax returns and basic tax compliance obligations in Cyprus.
Familiarity with accounting software, Microsoft Excel and electronic filing.
Strong organisation, attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements

Relevant academic background is a must
Willingness to learn and clear potential for development within the accounting profession

For senior candidates:

Solid prior experience within an accounting or audit firm
Ability to manage work independently and the capacity to guide or support more junior members of the team.
