Presales Solution Engineer — Paphos

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for a Presales Solution Engineer in Paphos.
Main duties:
- Design turnkey BESS solutions for utility-scale and commercial or industrial energy-storage projects.
- Define system topology, PCS and EMS configurations, thermal management, fire protection and grid-connection solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, presentations, single-line diagrams, bills of materials, benefit analyses and competitor comparisons.
- Lead technical discussions, tender documentation, response sheets, deviation lists and compliance reviews.
- Monitor Cyprus grid codes, energy policy, certifications and market requirements.
- Train and support sales teams, distributors and partners while identifying early technical and compliance risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or Renewable Energy.
- One to five years of BESS or solar presales or solution-design experience.
- Knowledge of BESS architecture, PCS, EMS, battery containers, fire protection and thermal-management systems.
- Strong technical writing, logical analysis and customer-facing communication skills.
- Fluent English; Greek is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within Cyprus and, when required, elsewhere in Europe.
