About ETEK

The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) is the statutory Technical Advisor to the State and the umbrella organisation for all Cypriot engineers. Established by law as a public law legal entity, ETEK promotes science, engineering and technology and safeguards the quality and ethics of the engineering profession in Cyprus.

Main roles & services

• Acts as the institutional Technical Advisor of the Republic of Cyprus
• Registers and regulates Cypriot engineers and engineering companies
• Issues opinions on technical legislation, development and public projects
• Provides continuous professional development and training for engineers
• Supports public information, publications and technical standards access
