Hiring and training a higher-education graduate
Official programme: HRDA scheme for staffing businesses with higher-education graduates
Supports employers that recruit and train a new higher-education graduate through an approved six-month workplace training plan.
Tertiary qualification from a programme lasting at least three years.
Under 30 when the employer applies.
No more than eight months of relevant post-qualification experience.
Before training beginsHire the candidate, apply through Ermis within two months of hiring, and wait for HRDA approval before starting the training plan.

Hiring and training a long-term unemployed person
Official programme: HRDA training scheme for long-term unemployed people in businesses and organisations
Provides an incentive for employers to recruit and train an eligible long-term unemployed person through an approved four-month workplace training plan.
Registered unemployed for more than six continuous months before hiring.
A candidate with tertiary education must be at least 30.
No more than eight months of relevant experience during the previous four years.
