Junior Accountant

We are partnering with a leading Consulting Group in the financial services industry to support the recruitment of a Junior Accountant to join their expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is looking to develop their skills within a licensed Forex and financial services environment in the heart of Limassol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process the day-to-day bookkeeping of financial operations
- Handle and process payroll activities accurately and on time
- Maintain and update the fixed assets register and calculate depreciations
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts
- Perform bank, client, and general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end closing and internal reporting processes
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of accounting tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a Forex or financial services company
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Experience with accounting software; SAP knowledge will be considered an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured, professional environment
- Good command of the English language
