Position: Accountant
Location: Limassol/Paphos – Onsite
On behalf of our client, a well-established professional services firm in Cyprus, we are seeking a energetic Accountant to join their offices in Limassol or Paphos. The firm provides comprehensive accounting, tax, audit, payroll, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, delivering accurate and tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping and accurate financial records for multiple clients.
- Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank, VAT, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and statements of accounts.
- Support statutory reporting and compliance obligations in line with applicable regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including audit and tax, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Relevant accounting experience of 2+ years, preferably within a multi-client or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and statements of accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent command of English, Greek (and German for Paphos).
