Our client is a fast-growing and innovative company operating in the food production and distribution sector in Cyprus. The company specializes in high-quality food products and is expanding its presence in the retail market with the launch of a new ready-to-eat product line. To support this expansion, they are seeking a motivated and proactive Account Manager / Merchandiser to oversee key retail partnerships across the island.
Role Overview
The Account Manager / Merchandiser will be responsible for managing and developing the relationship with a leading supermarket chain across Cyprus. The role involves overseeing the launch and ongoing presence of a new ready-to-eat product line, ensuring excellent product visibility, stock availability, and strong collaboration with store teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop the relationship with the assigned supermarket chain across multiple locations in Cyprus
• Oversee the successful launch and merchandising of the new ready-to-eat product line
• Visit stores regularly to ensure proper product placement, visibility, and compliance with merchandising standards
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure continuous product availability
• Build strong relationships with store managers and department teams
• Identify opportunities to improve product exposure, sales performance, and promotional activities
• Collect market feedback and report on competitor activity, customer preferences, and sales trends
• Coordinate closely with internal sales, logistics, and marketing teams
Requirements
• Previous experience in Account Management, Merchandising, or FMCG sales
• Experience working with supermarkets or retail chains will be considered an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple store locations
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Fluent in Greek and good command of English
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Cyprus
