As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a Group Chief Engineer who will help shape the technical standards, sustainability practices, and operational reliability across all our properties.
Your Role
As Group Chief Engineer, you will lead the engineering strategy and technical operations across all hotels within the group. You will oversee engineering teams across multiple properties, establish preventive maintenance standards, supervise capital projects, and ensure all technical operations meet the highest safety, efficiency, and sustainability standards. Your leadership will ensure that every property operates reliably while supporting the long-term development and growth of the group.
What You’ll Do
· Lead and supervise engineering operations across all hotels within the group.
· Establish group-wide preventive maintenance standards, procedures, and reporting systems.
· Support and guide property Chief Engineers and maintenance teams.
· Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems across the portfolio.
· Manage and coordinate renovation, technical upgrades, and capital expenditure projects.
· Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
· Collaborate with hotel management teams to support seamless guest experiences.
· Prepare technical reports, budgets, and long-term infrastructure plans for senior management.
· Evaluate and coordinate external contractors, suppliers, and technical partners.
What We Value
· Proven experience as Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Group Engineering Manager within hospitality or large-scale facilities.
· Strong technical knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
· Experience managing multiple properties or complex technical operations.
· Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams across different locations.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, fire safety, and sustainability practices.
· Proficiency in MS Office and building management systems (BMS).
· Communication skills in Greek and English (written and spoken).
· A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on technical approach.
