Job Overview
The Marketing Analyst is responsible for analysing marketing data to improve performance, efficiency, and growth across key KPIs. The role focuses on developing reliable analytics frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic and operational marketing decisions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Analyst enables data-driven optimization of campaigns, tools, and customer journeys.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform marketing analytics to improve efficiency and drive growth across key marketing KPIs.
- Develop, enhance, and govern marketing analytics methodologies, processes, and reporting standards.
- Conduct ongoing market, customer, and performance research to support the Marketing team's strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Support and optimize the marketing technology stack, including dashboarding, tracking, campaign management, and analytics tools.
- Manage marketing data streams, including event tracking and system integrations, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain and improve data quality, with a strong focus on attribution model accuracy and ongoing development.
- Perform attribution, funnel, and cohort analyses to evaluate marketing performance and customer behavior.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and ad hoc reports to enable timely, data-driven decision-making.
- Support and document procedures related to marketing metrics, tracking, and measurement frameworks.
- Conduct market benchmarking and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Manage and evaluate analytical tools, ensuring effective usage and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify insights, trends, and opportunities through curiosity-driven analysis and clear storytelling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a relevant field.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years as a Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst or a similar role.
- Excellent command of the English language. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Proficient in SQL, with Python experience considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with analytics and marketing technology tools, including:
- Business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Web and app analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Mobile measurement platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer or equivalent MMPs)
- Event-based analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel or similar)
- Tag management solutions
