On behalf of our client, we are seeking a General Manager with a strong international business development focus, ideally coming from the corporate travel, aviation, or airline industry.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving global expansion, partnerships, and revenue growth outside of Cyprus, with a clear focus on building and scaling international markets.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Expansion
- Lead the company’s international business development strategy
- Identify and penetrate new markets globally (with emphasis outside Cyprus)
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies across regions
- Partnerships & Commercial Development
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with:
- Airlines
- Corporate travel agencies
- Travel management companies (TMCs)
- Key global accounts
- Negotiate and close high-value commercial agreements
- Revenue & Performance Management
- Own P&L responsibility and revenue growth targets
- Drive commercial performance and profitability
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key representative of the business internationally
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Build and lead high-performing commercial teams (as the business scales)
- Implement the company’s strategic initiatives to enhance overall business performance
- Set clear team goals aligned with strategic planning and organizational objectives
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure alignment across all departments
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals and support sustainable growth
- Ensure financial targets are met while optimizing the use of resources
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in:
- Aviation / Airlines / Corporate Travel / TMCs
- International Business Development or Commercial Leadership roles
Strong track record in:
- Global partnerships and market expansion
- Revenue growth and deal-making
Background similar to:
- Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Director profiles
Deep understanding of:
- Airline distribution, corporate travel ecosystems, or travel management
- Excellent network within the industry internationally
- Strong commercial mindset + strategic thinking
- Willingness to travel internationall
