- Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:00 (afternoon off)
Responsibilities
- Record and maintain journal and account entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process invoices, bills, expense reports, and payments, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by gathering financial data and analyzing trends.
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Provide support to senior accountants or accounting managers, including workload distribution and quality review of peers’ work.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions.
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking
Requirements
- College/University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and results oriented.
- Diligent, methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player with pleasant personality.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, both oral and written.
