Bookkeeper / Accountant Vacancy
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the overall financial operations of the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post invoices for purchases, expenses, and other financial transactions
- Process bank and cash payments, including handling bank-related debits
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies
- Record incoming payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain accounts for new suppliers and customers
- Prepare documentation for audits and assist with year-end journal entries
- Support financial reporting and provide accurate data to management
- Assist with general office administration tasks
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Very good knowledge of Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
