Senior Auditor (3+ Years Experience)

On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Senior Auditor to join their expanding audit department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of clients while taking on increased responsibility within a professional and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in audit engagements from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, disclosures, and related documentation
• Coordinate audit assignments and ensure deadlines and professional standards are met
• Supervise and support junior team members throughout audit engagements
• Maintain regular communication with clients and address audit-related queries and requests
• Monitor assignment progress and report updates to Audit Managers
• Identify risks, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement within clients’ operations and internal controls
• Participate in company projects and other assignments as required
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field
• University of Cyprus graduates with a minimum grade of 7.50/10, UK University graduates with a minimum 2:1, or graduates from other universities with a minimum GPA of 3.33
• ACCA/ACA qualified or close to qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit within a professional services environment
• Excellent command of Greek and English, written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of audit software and accounts production programs
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure
• Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
