Role: Audit Assistant Manager
Location: Nicosia/Limassol
On behalf of our client, an independent International Consulting Firm, we are currentlylooking to hire an Audit Assistant Managerto join and lead a dynamic team. A great opportunity for professionals with solid supervising experience in Audit who are looking to develop their leadership and managerial skills and aspire to become experts at a well-known local and all-round leading firm.
Main Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate a team within the audit department, overseeing daily operations and making adjustments when needed to ensure smooth performance.
- Make sure all audit tasks are finalized accurately and delivered within the agreed client timelines.
- Review work across audit, tax, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance before passing it on to the Audit/Tax/Advisory Director for final approval.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure assignments are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Support and share relevant details with the Tax Department Managers to help finalize tax-related projects.
- Work alongside Directors, Principals, and Senior Managers to promote teamwork and contribute to business growth and client relationship building.
- Maintain direct communication with clients, addressing questions or concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Provide daily updates and reports to the Principal or Director regarding ongoing projects and client matters.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
- At least three years of post-qualification experience within a well-established audit firm.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Proactive personality with leadership skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to guide and support team members effectively.
- Comfortable working under pressure, handling multiple priorities, and meeting strict deadlines.
