Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in collaboration with a licensed employment agency with licence number 547, is seeking an Accountant.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.

• Review and record supplier invoices, process payments and communicate with suppliers and banks.

• Process sales invoices and incoming payments.

• Prepare VAT returns and maintain accounting documentation and filing.

• Record and reconcile cash and bank statements.

• Review, record and reconcile payroll payments.

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and conduct account reconciliations.

• Collaborate with other departments to collect the financial data required for complete record keeping.

• Support senior accounting personnel with administrative tasks, financial reporting and other accounting duties.

• Conduct regular financial checks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• At least two years of experience in an accounting role.

Key Requirements and Skills

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and compliance.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong data analysis and financial reporting skills.

• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary

Approximately €2,500 gross per month, flexible depending on experience.

• Fuel allowance after successfully completing the three-month probation period: €140 per month for commuting distances of 41–70 km, or €150 per month for commuting distances exceeding 70 km.
