Main duties:
- Plan and teach engaging, well-structured lessons for Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom and support pupils’ academic and personal development.
- Monitor pupil progress and wellbeing and coordinate with colleagues.
- Participate in meetings, parent evenings, trips and extracurricular activities.
- Support curriculum development and take ownership of a subject or school initiative.
- Apply behaviour, safeguarding, health-and-safety and academic standards consistently.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree with PGCE and/or QTS.
- At least two years of teaching experience in Early Years, KS1 or KS2; British-curriculum experience is preferred.
- Commitment to child-centred learning and high academic standards.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork.
- Full written and spoken English.
- International-school experience and British-curriculum familiarity are advantages.
