Work arrangement:

Main duties:
- Deliver training and assessment toward the HM Forces Service Person apprenticeship standard.
- Conduct progress reviews and coach apprentices from induction through successful gateway.
- Assess apprentice work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Deliver Functional Skills mathematics and/or English up to Level 2.
- Conduct initial and diagnostic assessments to identify individual learning needs.
- Mentor apprentices, provide advice and guidance, and identify barriers or needs for extra support.
- Maintain accurate, compliant apprenticeship records and documentation.
- Coordinate and invigilate examinations as required.
- Contribute to standardisation, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience training and assessing apprentices.
- Assessor Coach Level 4, Learning and Skills Teacher Level 5 or an equivalent qualification, or willingness to work toward one.
- Functional Skills Level 2 or an equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and the ability to engage and motivate apprentices.
- Strong organisation, time management and digital skills.
- Experience in further education, apprenticeships or work-based learning is an advantage.
- Understanding of the Armed Forces environment.
- Role is subject to appropriate safeguarding and safer-recruitment checks because it involves regulated contact with children.
