Role Overview

The Customer Success Manager will act as a key connection between customers, Sales/Business Development, Product and Engineering, supporting clients from their first technical conversation through onboarding, implementation and ongoing adoption.

This is a hands-on technical customer-facing role, rather than a traditional customer service position.

The successful candidate will understand customer business requirements, translate them into clear technical solutions, support pre-sales discussions and personally configure and implement solutions using the company's proprietary AI platform.

The role does not require writing production software; however, candidates must be comfortable reading and adapting code, working with APIs, understanding technical documentation and troubleshooting integrations.

Success in this position means being able to independently deliver straightforward customer implementations and integrations, while recognising when more advanced technical requirements should be escalated to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an early technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers during evaluation, sales and onboarding.
Understand customers' business challenges, workflows and use cases and translate them into clear technical requirements.
Support the Business Development and Sales teams during pre-sales discussions.
Explain product capabilities, technical possibilities and limitations to prospective customers.
Answer technical questions and contribute to proposals that help move opportunities towards successful closure.
Develop strong technical knowledge of the company's products, including Voice AI Agents, Chat Agents, transcription solutions and AI analytics.
Prepare clear technical specifications for proposed customer solutions.
Configure and implement customer solutions end-to-end using the company's proprietary platform.
Design and configure AI agent behaviour, conversation flows and workflow logic.
Develop and optimise the prompt logic used by AI communication agents.
Read, write and adapt embedded C# / .NET code snippets where platform configuration requires variables, conditionals, string manipulation or workflow data handling.
Deliver straightforward customer integrations independently following training.
Review customer API documentation and determine appropriate integration approaches.
Work with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication mechanisms and webhooks.
Map data fields between systems and configure API requests.
Test API endpoints and troubleshoot unsuccessful requests or integrations.
Identify whether technical issues relate to configuration, integration or platform limitations before escalating.
Recognise when customer requirements exceed the current capabilities of the platform.
Translate advanced customer requirements into clear and complete specifications for the development team.
Coordinate with Engineering when custom development or more complex technical work is required.
Act as a liaison between customers, Sales, Product and Engineering throughout implementation.
Manage multiple customer implementations, conversations and technical projects simultaneously.
Support customers following implementation to encourage adoption, satisfaction and successful use of the platform.
Troubleshoot customer issues and provide practical solutions before escalating where possible.
Maintain accurate technical specifications, implementation notes and customer documentation.
Help ensure customer expectations remain aligned with technical capabilities throughout the customer lifecycle.
Contribute customer feedback and recurring requirements to future product-development discussions.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
Previous experience in Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Implementation Consulting, Technical Account Management or another customer-facing technical position.
Strong technical foundation and genuine understanding of software concepts.
Ability to read, understand and adapt code.
Programming fundamentals sufficient to work independently with embedded C# / .NET configuration following platform training.
Working understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
Good knowledge of JSON, HTTP methods, HTTP status codes, webhooks and API authentication.
Ability to read and understand API and technical documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical configurations independently before escalating.
Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to non-technical customers and commercial stakeholders.
Experience with, or strong aptitude for, no-code and low-code platforms.
Ability to prepare clear technical specifications and documentation.
Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercial and pre-sales mindset, with confidence participating in customer discussions that support deal closure.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer projects and priorities simultaneously.
Self-motivated and proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
Very good command of English.

Nice to Have

Previous experience with Conversational AI, Voice AI, Chat AI, AI Agents or contact-centre technologies.
Hands-on experience with C# / .NET.
Programming experience with another object-oriented or relevant language such as Java, Python or TypeScript.
Experience creating or configuring integrations between SaaS platforms.
Practical experience using Postman or similar API-testing tools.
Experience with prompt engineering.
Previous experience developing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
Familiarity with AI workflows, automation platforms or agent-building technologies.
Exposure to telephony APIs or voice communication platforms.
Experience integrating with CRM systems.
Experience working with booking-system or scheduling APIs.
Previous experience working directly with a Sales or Business Development team in a pre-sales technical capacity.
Experience supporting B2B SaaS customers.
Previous experience within an AI startup, SaaS company or fast-growing technology environment.
Understanding of customer onboarding, adoption and customer-success methodologies.

What the Company Offers

Gross annual salary of €20,000–€27,000, depending on experience and technical background.
