Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Junior Accountant – VAT & EU Reporting.

Main duties:
- Prepare VAT returns and VIES declarations for review.
- Support One-Stop Shop reporting for cross-border EU consumer transactions and apply the correct VAT treatment.
- Post accounting records, reconcile balances and support IAS/IFRS-compliant reporting.
- Maintain supporting schedules and communicate clearly with the team on open items.
Requirements:
- Relevant accounting education and some practical accounting experience.
- Interest in Cyprus and EU VAT, OSS reporting and IAS/IFRS accounting.
- Accuracy, initiative and willingness to develop specialist knowledge.
- Good organisation and ability to work collaboratively.
