Swimming Pool Attendant
Working for: Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd
Reporting to: Swimming Pool Supervisor
Location: Aphrodite Hills Resort, Paphos
Job Summary:
We are seeking a swimming pool attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at a swimming pool facility. Key responsibilities include monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, maintaining cleanliness and order around the pool area. Attendants may also check pool chemicals and perform routine maintenance.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
⁃Test PH levels for water quality and or maintain chemical levels.
⁃Identify cracks or leaks in the pool area structure, pipes or plumping.
⁃Cleaning swimming pools and filtration using certified pool equipment.
⁃Check pools for dirt and debris daily and use specialized equipment to extract both.
⁃Brush pool floors and walls using chemicals.
-Perform vacuuming activities.
⁃Mix chemicals in appropriate quantity and pour the concoction into pools
⁃Handle minor fixture adjustments and repairs around the pool.
⁃Store pool equipment and tools in a proper manner.
⁃Perform regular security checks on pool filtration motors and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
⁃Good knowledge of English language and / or Greek language
⁃At least 1 year experience in similar position
⁃Knowledge of proper chemical handling
⁃Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment
⁃Pleasant Personality
⁃Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of the team.
