Job Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas including floors, walls, fryers, grills, and equipment.
- Collect and wash dishes, glassware, and utensils from various hotel areas.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper sanitation of items.
- Assist kitchen and service staff in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Safely use cleaning materials and wear protective gear as required.
- Dispose of waste and maintain tidy waste areas.
- Replenish stations with clean utensils and kitchen gear.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines and internal protocols.
- Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours or large events.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a stewarding or kitchen cleaning role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and dishwashers.
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication in English is essential. Fluency in Greek is a strong advantage.
- Applicants must hold EU nationality without the need for a visa sponsor.
