What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Risk Manager — Market Risk to join our Risk Management function. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of CFD and FX market risk with strong data and quantitative skills, a passion for financial markets, and an AI-native approach to analytical work. You will play a critical role in monitoring market exposure, analysing client portfolio risk, supporting pricing and liquidity oversight, and developing the risk frameworks that underpin how the Group manages its book. This is a high-visibility position with genuine scope for growth, working directly alongside the Head of Market Risk, Pricing Liquidity.
What We’re Looking For:
• Monitors the functioning of all platforms and risk management tools; monitors instrument settings and parameters as required.
• Monitors market risk exposure on a continuous basis across a range of asset classes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and business objectives.
• Monitors the flow of transactions of all clients and investigates irregular activity.
• Analyses client behaviour and identifies toxic or potentially abusive flow, such as latency arbitrage and systematic price exploitation.
• Tracks hedge coverage, directional inventory, and net exposure throughout the day; performs daily review of hedging efficiency based on market conditions.
• Maintains pricing integrity by monitoring spread competitiveness, identifying pricing drift, and supporting optimisation proposals to deliver a superior client experience.
• Builds and maintains real-time risk dashboards and produces regular reports on exposure attribution and portfolio performance for senior management.
• Applies AI tools and quantitative analytics to automate monitoring workflows, surface anomalies, and continuously improve internal risk procedures and reporting efficiency.
• Analyses liquidity provider performance including feed quality, fill rates, and execution slippage; builds and maintains strong relationships with LPs and counterparties to ensure consistent execution quality and competitive pricing.
• Ensures proactive risk escalation and timely communication to senior management in fast-moving or stressed market conditions.
Qualifications:
Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in market risk, trading risk, or liquidity analytics within a CFD broker, prime broker, or trading firm.
• Passion for financial markets and deep intellectual curiosity about risk management in high- volume CFD/FX environments.
• Strong understanding of trading revenue models, client flow behaviour, and exposure management techniques, including A/B book mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, and liquidity bridge technologies (e.g., OneZero).
• AI-native mindset: actively uses AI tools in daily workflow for analytics, automation, and reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail, particularly in high-frequency or latency-sensitive environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across stakeholders including developers, quant teams, and external liquidity providers.
Nice to Have
• Advanced qualification — CFA, FRM, or PRM.
• CySEC Advanced Certificate or equivalent regulatory qualification.
• Experience with high-volume analytical data environments (e.g. ClickHouse, Snowflake, or similar).
• Background in quantitative research, algorithmic strategy oversight, or pricing model development.
• Familiarity with CFD spread management and pricing risk framework design.
• Proficiency in at least one data tool: SQL, Python, or advanced Excel / BI platforms.
Working Schedule: on-site Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
