Main duties:
- Develop, debug, maintain, support and validate mission-critical payment software.
- Build solutions with Java Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Support clients throughout implementation and the software lifecycle.
- Investigate defects, deliver corrective fixes and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow engineering standards and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Take ownership of assigned work and contribute to DevOps practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
- Zero to four or more years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of relational-database concepts, SQL and a procedural database language.
- Strong English.
- Availability for occasional rotational 24-hour on-call support and future travel for certifications, installation, training, user acceptance testing or operational support.
- UNIX or Linux, Oracle development and tuning, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, REST APIs or AI experience is an advantage.
