On behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most established sporting organizations, we are seeking to recruit a professional and organized Receptionist to join their team in Larnaca.

The organization operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and is looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-oriented individual who can provide excellent front-desk support while assisting with the smooth daily operation of the offices.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for visitors, partners, supporters, employees, and external associates, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.

The role combines reception duties with general administrative and office support, including telephone and email communication, appointment coordination, document management, and assistance with everyday office requirements.

The ideal candidate should be organized, approachable, professional, and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities may change throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and provide professional front-desk assistance.
Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department or person.
Handle general email correspondence and respond to enquiries where appropriate.
Provide accurate information to visitors, partners, supporters, and external associates.
Manage and coordinate appointments, meetings, and visitor schedules.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Receive, organize, and distribute incoming correspondence, documents, and deliveries.
Prepare, organize, scan, file, and maintain administrative documents and records.
Perform accurate data entry and keep relevant internal records updated.
Support Management and other departments with general administrative duties.
Assist with meeting preparation and coordination when required.
Communicate with suppliers, partners, service providers, and other external contacts.
Monitor pending administrative matters and follow up where required.
Assist with day-to-day office organization and general operational requirements.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Support the smooth daily operation of the offices and provide assistance wherever required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Front Office Assistant, Secretary, or in a similar customer-facing role will be considered an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, friendly, and customer-oriented approach.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Confidence using email, digital platforms, and general office systems.
Very good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
Professional telephone and email communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
Ability to remain professional and composed in a busy working environment.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Interest in the sports or football industry will be considered an advantage.
