Position: Junior Compliance Officer

Location: Limassol (On-site)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00

On behalf of our client, a Cyprus-based, CySEC-regulated investment firm operating within the online trading and financial services sector, we are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join their growing team in Limassol. The company operates within a modern and technology-driven trading environment, providing clients with access to international financial markets, including stocks and ETFs. With a strong focus on regulatory standards, responsible business practices and client protection, this is an opportunity to develop your compliance career while gaining hands-on exposure to key areas of regulatory compliance.

The Role

As a Compliance Assistant, you will support the day-to-day compliance function and contribute to maintaining the company’s internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. You will work across areas including AML/KYC, regulatory monitoring, marketing compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor day-to-day business activities and maintain accurate internal compliance records, including complaints and conflicts of interest registers.
Support AML and KYC processes by reviewing higher-risk client files and carrying out PEP and sanctions screening.
Review marketing materials, promotional campaigns and affiliate content to ensure they meet applicable regulatory requirements.
Assist with the preparation of information and documentation required for periodic regulatory submissions and compliance reports.
Monitor regulatory developments and communications from CySEC, ESMA and other relevant authorities, supporting updates to internal policies and procedures.
Provide general compliance support to management and assist with additional regulatory and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

CySEC Advanced Certificate and CySEC AML Certificate.
University degree, preferably in Law, Finance, Economics or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in compliance within a CIF or financial services environment.
Good understanding of regulatory compliance and the ability to interpret and apply relevant CySEC and EU requirements.
Good knowledge of financial services and financial markets.
Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
Strong attention to detail, integrity and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a regulated environment.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and digital documentation/reporting systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and on-site in Limassol.
